We believe it is important to contribute to a sustainable world, while also supporting those who are less fortunate. To be able to give shape to this belief, a special fund, the ‘t Zusje Foundation, was created.
MVI foundation
The MVI Foundation is one of the many superheroes within the care sector. This wonderful foundation focuses on less mobile elderly people and in some cases they also help institutions that focus on less mobile children or adults. The elderly people on whom MVI focuses depend on the care bus to take them to day care facilities where they can meet with others. This is in jeopardy! By scrapping care transport, day care centres are threatened to be closed down and the elderly are threatened to become lonely. Of course, this must not happen! This is why we have joined forces with the MVI Foundation in 2019 to fight loneliness.
Will you help us in this fight against loneliness? Choose your table at your favourite Zusje here.

’t Zusje Foundation x Bas Smit
Corrie and Fred are Bas Smit’s and Nicolette van Dam’s turtles. Completely unexpected; Corrie recently laid an egg… Freek Vonk assisted during the birth of this turtle. That is why the egg is named “Freek”. Bas quickly buys a special hatching egg so that everything is perfectly arranged for the coming breeding period. To top it all off, Corrie lays another egg! And so, Freek’s little sister is born. A second hatching egg is placed in the Smit/Van Dam house. A special Instagram account @freekdeschildpad (to follow the breeding process) is created. Due to overwhelming enthusiasm, this account immediately has many followers. This is how Bas got the idea to raise money for the Princess Máxima Centre by means of logo sponsoring on the hatching eggs. The “t Zusje Foundation” has embraced “t Zusje van Freek” by participating in this charity action for the Princess Máxima Centre, children’s oncology.
